How can I edit the SoE?
Strength of Evidence is the measure which is used to evaluate the reliability and/or uncertainty of the scientific assertion you want to use in our KM.
It can have 3 types:
- Statement: very strong convergence on the scientific fact, confirmed for instance from multiple sources or several Key Opinion Leaders.
- Data: strong fact, but for which you would evaluate that more convergence would still be needed.
- Hypothesis: an isolated fact, for which you can only one or two references.
For each type of SoE, an assertion can be excellent, strong, medium, weak but also unevaluated.
The SoE can be edited in the course of your investigation where you meet further evidence of its reliability or, on the contrary, you devalue the assertion.
